No food or drink at least 6 hours before surgery |
Prescription med usage determined prior to surgery and only with sip of water |
If you choose to receive IV sedation or general anesthesia:
- You must have a responsible adult with you to stay in the office during the procedure, drive you home, and spend the remainder of the day with you.
- Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothes and remove all jewelry and nail polish. If you wear contact lenses, please remove them and wear your glasses to your appointment.
- If you have an illness such as a cold, sore throat, stomach or bowel upset, please notify the office.
